National Parks Month: Kings Bay Treasure Hunt
July 7 @ 10:00 am - July 28 @ 6:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Wednesday, repeating indefinitely
Discover the history of Kings Bay and enjoy our outdoor recreation spaces on this special treasure hunt during National Parks and Recreation Month!
Each Wednesday in July, by 10am, we will hide one special treasure with some historical fun facts & a clue to help you find it posted on our Facebook page.
Learn more about the history of Kings Bay with our treasure hunt, use the information and clue to find a special treasure hidden in one of our parks each week. You’ll be looking for a small box labeled “MWR Treasure Hunt.” The first to find it will get a special prize. Once you locate the box you will need to take it to the CRAB to redeem your prize. Be sure to read the clues and information carefully as they can be hidden at any of the parks listed below. Good Luck!
The CRAB will also host a special submarine display all month long sponsored by the St. Marys Submarine Museum and a hands on history experience on Tuesday, July 13th, from 9am-12pm.
