Low-Tide Paddle

June 13 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on June 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm

The long wait for guided kayak tours is over! Enjoy our miles of coastline and saltmarsh habitats and marvel at the many species of wading and shore birds that frequent our park! Keep an eye out for manatees and dolphins, as Crooked River is used as a rest stop and feeding ground for many aquatic mammals.

Low-Tide Paddles are 2-3 hours long and will be led by Crooked River’s Assistant Manager, Patrick Turknett, and Interpretive Ranger, Willie Park. Those who are interested in fishing will be happy to hear that Patrick is an avid angler and will be able to answer questions guests may have. Advanced Registration is required 24 hours prior to each departure. Each tour is limited to a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 paddlers.

Admission: $30 single; $40 tandem; $20 if you bring your own kayak.
Parking fee: $5
